Interested in Getting Involved with PDX World Naked Bike Ride?

Volunteering with us is a unique way to support a bold, body-positive movement that promotes environmental awareness, cyclist safety, and freedom of expression. As a volunteer, you will help create a safe, organized, and empowering experience for riders. Plus, it’s a chance to be part of a global, unforgettable event that celebrates confidence, community, and the joy of biking in the most liberating way possible!

Every ride needs dozens of volunteers to help before, during, and after the event. Roles include Corkers (people who help direct the bike traffic), Medics, clean-up crews at the launch and end-point locations, Merch Sales and Donations, and many more! This ride could not happen without the generous support from our community.

There are many roles to choose from. Most are for the day of the ride, but there are others needed before and afterwards. Please take a look at all the options and job descriptions. The dress code for volunteers on the day of the ride is “as bare as you dare”, just like it is for everyone participating in the protest.

Important communications about volunteering will come via email; please check your inbox regularly!

Requirements to volunteer:

  • Age 18+
  • Sign a waiver.
  • Some roles require attendance of one virtual meeting ahead of the ride.
  • If your role is on the day of the ride, you will need to download the app Zello for communication purposes.

The sign-up will close a few days before the ride.

Note: In 2025, Maltese Medical provided medic support. We appreciated their sponsorship! If you have medical training and would like to be involved, please email maltesemedicalllc@gmail.com.

If you have questions, please email pdxwnbrvolunteer@gmail.com. All volunteers must sign a waiver (print, sign, and send the pdf or jpg to pdxwnbrvolunteer@gmail.com).

Do you feel called to do even more?

Joining our leadership team is an opportunity to take a hands-on role in shaping this iconic event. As a leader, you’ll help with planning, logistics, safety coordination, and community outreach, ensuring a smooth and successful ride. It’s a chance to build leadership skills, connect with like-minded advocates, and make a lasting impact in our community. Everyone is welcome to apply! Current leadership team members may also anonymously apply as well, to help ensure that PDXWNBR will always be helmed by a variety of people with passion and dedication.

Applications are closed for the 2026 Leadership Team. The deadline for applying was end-of-day Wednesday, October 22, 2025. Applications for 2027 will be available in early Fall 2026.
